Our extensive grounds, with access to ancient woodland, encourage our children to be inquisitive and caring about the world around them. Our exciting and stimulating curriculum inspires the children to explore, investigate and apply their skills.
Our vision is a whole child approach where all our children are filled with positive experiences and they are healthy, nurtured. safe. engaged, supported and challenged.
We believe these fundamental values will give the children both the confidence to “Reach for the Stars…and shine” and progress with self-reliance into the next phase of their education
Our school website will hopefully give you an opportunity to gain an insight into the vibrant life of our friendly, caring school with details of our high expectations and the quality education we provide for your child.
Details of your child’s learning and ideas to enrich the experiences at home can be found under the Year Group Tab, Parent tab or from the Curriculum and SMSC link on the top of this page.
We welcome visits from parents who are considering a new school for their child and there are opportunities every term for parents to come into school and engage with their child’s learning through practical and fun workshops.
I am proud to be the Headteacher of King’s Oak Academy. The staff, members of the Academy Review Committee (ARC), members and trustees are fully committed to the community and strive to work in partnership with other schools and agencies to ensure the school provides our children and faimiles with the best possible chances in life.
On March 1s 2018 we joined with 6 other local schools to form KWEST Multi-Academy Trust. On June 1st 2021 the Regional Schools Commissioner’s Head Teachers’ Board approved our transfer to Unity Education Trust (UET). This will allow everyone to benefit from a larger infrastructure and support. Please use the link below to see all the schools within the UET family.
